Addams Family Musical This Weekend, Enrollment Deadline Thursday

General Information
The Addams Family at The Adams Theater – Come to BART’s spring musical to see and hear what happens when Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents join the Addams family for dinner. Show times are May 16-17 at 7:00 p.m. and May 18 at 4:00 p.m. at The Adams Theater, 27 Park Street, Adams. Buy tickets here or at the door (cash only); $15 general, $10 students and seniors, $5 BART students and staff.
Family Reception Friday – Stick around after the musical on Friday for the BART family reception sponsored by our new BART FANs. The reception begins when the curtain drops and the standing ovation stops. Meet fellow members of the BART community in the post-show celebration. Refreshments will be available for purchase. The Adams Theater, 27 Park Street, Adams, Friday, May 17.
Junior/Senior Prom – The BART Junior/Senior Prom will be held Saturday, May 25 from 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. at the American Legion, 41 American Legion Drive, North Adams. Juniors and Seniors may purchase tickets at lunch May 10, 14, and 16. Tickets cost $30 per student or $50 per couple. All guests must be currently enrolled in grades 9-12 and non-BART students must be approved in advance by Principal Bouchard. On prom night, if students leave the Legion Hall after entry, they will not be permitted to re-enter.
Dine To Donate at Applebee’s – Eat at Applebee’s on May 30 and support the BART Student Ambassadors! Show your server this Dine to Donate flyer to have 15% of your bill donated to support the BART Student Ambassadors. Applebee's, 555 Hubbard Ave, Pittsfield, May 30 from 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
BART Cross Country – Students in grades 6-12 may sign up here for the Wolf Pack Cross Country team, now celebrating 15 years of individual and team competition! Athletes will traverse fields and woods in 3.1-mile races on Wednesdays from August 19 - November 6. Have questions? Attend an information session scheduled for the first week of June or email Coach Griffin.
May 23 Lottery Deadline – Please encourage family and friends to apply to BART now for the fall. Apply by noon May 23 to be included in the next lottery. Grade 6, the best year to enroll at BART, has openings now; grades 7-10 vacancies will be identified as current students confirm their intent to return. Current BART students do not need to reapply.
BART FANs (Family Association Network) – Some schools have a PTA or PTO. BART has a FAN Club! It's new and you want to sign up here to receive news, get-together invites, chaperoning, and volunteer opportunities from the BART Family Association Network (FAN). The FAN club replaces BART's former Community Family Advocacy Council or CFAC. Sign up now!
